Little Things to do to Create Happiness


These ideas might seem cliche or obvious, but we really don’t take time for ourselves to regularly do them. Hopefully this can spark some inspiration to incorporate these into your daily lives 🙂 enjoy!

  • Turn on your favorite music- Turn on what you love! Jam out. Do this and dance around your house too. Your mood will improve.


  • Meditate- This is something I’m working on doing regularly. All you have to do is sit in a comfortable position and take deep breaths. Try to clear your thoughts and only think about your breathing. If your mind wanders, it’s okay; just do your best to focus on the breaths. This is an excellent way to get rid of stress.


  • Go for a walk- It’s not a theory that exercise is good for the body and mind, it’s a fact. It releases dopamine a “feel good” hormone in your brain, and you will definitely improve your mood.

  • Get dressed up- Hey, look good, feel good I always say. 


  • Cook a new recipe- Who doesn’t love food? I’m always in a better mood when I’ve created some amazing new meal, idk about you.

  • Make a list of everything you’re grateful for- Expressing gratitude is the best way to appreciate what you have and create more happiness in your life.

  • Get outside, sit in the sun- Vitamin D does wonders!!

  • Do some yoga/stretch- If you guys aren’t following Boho Beautiful on youtube, you totally should! Her lifestyle and yoga and pilates routines are sooo good.


  • Make a healthy smoothie- Throw some fruits and veggies together to make a delicious and colorful healthy snack that will boost your energy.

  • Compliment 3 strangers (wherever)- How good does it feel what someone says something nice to you out of the blue when you’re least expecting it? Well I’m convinced that it feels equally as good to be the one giving out those compliments.


  • Give yourself a pep talk- Self talk is sooo important. I preach this over and over again. Your thoughts control your words, and actions. Tell yourself how great you are and how loved you are, and do it out loud! Cut out the negative voice inside your enemy who is usually your worst enemy.
